Reinforcing Our Policies

We use real-life examples and scenarios to illustrate our policies. Apple employees complete mandatory annual Business Conduct training customized for their line of business. Topics include workplace behaviors, conflicts of interest, gifts, confidentiality, antitrust and competition law, anti-corruption, privacy, export and sanctions, and other important laws and values.

All employees get mandatory annual or bi-annual training on Privacy, Respect at Apple, and Inclusion and Diversity. Employees receive additional required and recurring training, including manager-specific training, depending on location and the risks and responsibilities of their role. Employees receive between two and five hours of training annually.

Managers receive supplementary resources and training, including topics such as disability and accommodations, and discriminatory behavior. Managers also receive specific training outlining their responsibilities to receive and report all allegations of misconduct. 

We train eligible contractors on our expectations for ethical behavior. Topics include workplace behaviors, secrecy, privacy, and important laws.
