Clean Energy Guidance from Apple provides grid forecasts to help you choose when to use electricity. These forecasts are personalized for your home location and are based on environmental and grid inputs. They identify the times when there’s relatively cleaner electricity on the grid. Your electricity rate plan information is also incorporated if you’ve connected your utility account in the Home app.
Automatic wire detection keeps installation simple, with an optional C‑wire adapter and trim plate (sold separately). Add optional temperature sensors (sold separately) to help reduce room‑to‑room temperature differences.
